Sendshit works now. Problem traced to some kind of timing. We firet got really on the trail when we tried to have the pic send the information asynchronously to the e128 bypassing the xbees. Only every other packet was getting through. weird. Could we be filling up the tx and discarding every other packet? Adding a ton (7-10) NOPs between each byte sent out to the xbee fixes the problem. Yaaaay
(Still confusing as to the root cause..)
